When her car breaks down on a deserted road, a single woman seeks refuge in a dilapidated mansion. But the creepy man who answers the door has other plans: namely, to prod his new human guinea pig with the instruments of torture in his house. Can this nightmarish world be real? This classic horror flick is based on the 1919 silent film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, with a few updates for modern movie audiences.
