A college coed gets mixed up with dangerous criminals in this vintage B drama. When his university-going daughter Brenda (Tina Thayer) begins seeing a gangster named Nick (Rick Vallin), Brenda's district attorney father, Reynolds (Otto Kruger), won't stand for it. But the DA dad takes the role of protective pop a bit too far when he has Nick killed, and in an ironic twist of fate, Brenda is accused of the murder.
