Miracle in Milan

This charming fable tells the story of Toto (Francesco Golisano), an orphan raised by a kind old woman until her death. As a teenager, Toto begins living with a group of beggars and inspires them to improve their lives. When trouble strikes the beggars' colony, a magic dove grants their wishes -- as long as they don't ask for too much. The film won numerous honors, including two BAFTA nominations and the Cannes Film Festival Grand Prize.
