Bumbling radio DJ Ashley Wallace (Robert Hughes) pursues Swedish pop sensations ABBA across Australia in the hopes of landing an exclusive interview in this 1977 cult classic, released in conjunction with the group's wildly successful "ABBA: The Album." Directed by future Oscar nominee Lasse Hallström, the film captures Anni-Frid, Benny, Björn and Agnetha performing "Waterloo," "Mamma Mia" and other hits as they tour the country.
