After following a bogus detour sign into the sleepy town of Pleasant Valley (population: 2001 maniacs), an unsuspecting group of travelers become special guests in the town's "Guts and Glory Jubilee," presided over by a sadistic master of ceremonies (played by the incomparable Robert Englund). Lin Shaye, Giuseppe Andrews, Jay Gillespie and Marla Malcom co-star in this gory retelling of the Gordon Lewis classic Two Thousand Maniacs!
