Astrophysicist Austin Shepard (Peter Fonda) discovers indications that the sun is set to explode within a week. Can a group of dedicated scientists headed by Chris Richardson (Luke Perry) find a way to prevent Shepard's apocalyptic prophecy from coming true? The race is on to prevent the obliteration of the solar system. Originally aired on the Hallmark Channel, this tense sci-fi miniseries also stars Tia Carrere, Emma Samms and Lance Henriksen.
