Orphaned at a young age, Red (Ajit Kumar) grows up to become Madurai's resident don -- who has a soft spot for waifs -- in this engrossing tale. When he's not busy taking out rival gangsters, Red finds time to fall in love with Gayathri (Priya Gill), the daughter of his trusted cohort Narayanan (Manivannan). Although Gayathri returns Red's feelings, will his violent lifestyle stand in the way of a romance?
