Set in the 1940s, this sequel to the beloved holiday movie A Christmas Story depicts a summer in the life of Ralphie Parker (Kieran Culkin) and his eccentric family. Ralphie learns some lessons that lead him closer to adulthood; meanwhile, his father (Charles Grodin) fuels the fire of an ongoing feud with their hillbilly neighbors. Mary Steenburgen and Christian Culkin co-star in this family comedy based on the writings of humorist Jean Shepherd.
