After her minister husband dies, Sophia Myles (Della Reese) falls into deep grief. Soon, small-town real estate barracuda Mary Margaret (Rue McClanahan) starts pressuring Sophia to leave her house as the church board initiates plans to transform the sleepy municipality into a tourist attraction. But with an iron will, Sophia stirs from her sorrow and takes a stand against the forces that threaten her beloved community.
