With the feds hot on their heels, shady businessmen Ridley (Bill Paxton) and Allen (Stephen Dillane) flee to the Cayman Islands, where their actions ultimately lead a local man (Orlando Bloom) to commit a shocking crime. The lives of strangers intertwine in a web of emotional, racial and cultural tension as Ridley and Allen set off a series of events that tear up the peaceful island nation like a hurricane.
