Shakespeare meets Bollywood in director Vishal Bharadwaj's adaptation of the Bard's Othello. Set amidst the outlaw world of an Indian village, Omkara tackles the play's familiar themes of jealousy and missed opportunities. This film uses cultural and geographical context to humanize its characters as well. Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan and Vivek Oberoi star, and Bharadwaj also contributed the score and soundtrack.
