Fate steps in to link the lives of four strangers as they make their way to the United States for various reasons. Tilottima (Konkana Sen Sharma), a newlywed, can't wait to reunite with her husband; stockbroker Salim (Irfan Khan) is running from the law; Rahul (Ankur Khanna), a student, is waiting to start classes at a prestigious university; and talent agent Rajubhai (Paresh Rawal) is chaperoning a young girl on her first trip abroad.
