Principled doctor Vidyanand (Ashok Kumar) is a peaceful, law-abiding man who treats everyone with kindness and respect. When two malefactors (Raj Mehra and Anoop Kumar) conspire to have him sent to prison, Vidyanand's congenial ways disappear, and he becomes obsessed with avenging the injustice perpetrated against him. Directed by Satyen Bose, this drama also stars Deb Mukherjee, Alka, Nirupa Roy and Helen.
