On Moonlight Bay

Soon after moving with her dad (Leon Ames) and mom (Rosemary DeCamp) and younger brother (Billy Gray of "Father Knows Best") to a small Midwestern town, certified tomboy Marjorie Winfield (Doris Day) meets the boy next door (Gordon MacRae) and decides to go girly, all in hopes of catching his eye. Based in part on Booth Tarkington's "Penrod" stories, this classic musical features Day's popular rendition of the title track, among other songs.
