Don Diego Vega (Frank Langella), son of a nobleman, returns from school abroad to find his beloved California under the thumb of the ruthless Don Quintero (Robert Middleton). Pledging vengeance, the foppish Vega assumes the alter ego of Zorro, masked hero and savior of his people. Ricardo Montalban and Yvonne De Carlo co-star in this adaptation of the first Zorro story.
