The Monster of Phantom Lake

Professor Jackson (Josh Craig) and a beautiful grad student (Leigha Horton) are off to a getaway weekend at Phantom Lake. But something is waiting for them there, something not quite human: a shell-shocked veteran (Michael Kaiser) who's been mutated into a gruesome monster by toxic waste. Hilariously cheesy effects and dialogue highlight this send-up of 1950s monster movies, a labor of love for writer-director Christopher R. Mihm.
