Aspiring stand-up comedian Isaiah (Nashawn Kearse) resents having to take care of his developmentally disabled brother James (Christopher Scott). But when his dreams fall through and he gets mixed up in a violent underworld, Isaiah begins to understand the importance of the fraternal bond. Tatum O'Neal and Vanessa Williams -- who poignantly portrays the boys' terminally ill mother -- co-star in this moving inner-city drama.
