Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart -- one of the most successful songwriting teams of all time -- are the subject of this biopic featuring Mickey Rooney as Hart and Tom Drake as Rodgers. The real stars of the film, however, are the pair's songs, which get powerful treatment from the big names of the day, including Judy Garland on "Johnny One Note," June Allyson on "Thou Swell" and Lena Horne on "The Lady Is a Tramp" and "Where or When."
