When Binya (Shriya) finds a beautiful and mystical blue umbrella that captivates everyone who sees it, the little girl becomes the envy of her mountain village. But the umbrella goes missing, and Binya's suspicions fall on cranky shopkeeper Nandkishor (Pankaj Kapur). A charming allegory based on a novella by Ruskin Bond, this visually stunning film from India explores themes of greed, loneliness, longing and loss.
