Mario Lanza makes his big-screen debut playing a truck-driving tenor who gets his big break when the temperamental star walks off the job at the Philadelphia opera company where he works. Kathryn Grayson co-stars as the love interest, and Ethel Barrymore, J. Carrol Naish, Jules Munshin and Thomas Gomez add their acting chops to Norman Taurog's directorial effort.
