Examining previous events in the Battlestar Galactica world, this sci-fi drama follows Lee Adama (Jamie Bamber) as he takes over as commander of Battlestar Pegasus, promotes Kendra Shaw (Stephanie Chaves-Jacobsen) to second in command and fights for his ship's survival. Through flashbacks, the film also closely explores the complicated relationship between Admiral Cain (Michelle Forbes) and Cylon agent Gina (Tricia Helfer).
