The Indian film industry of the 1950s and '60s serves as the vibrant backdrop for this charming romantic drama. Nikhat (Soha Ali Khan) is an ingenue who sees her career leap from that of an extra to a leading lady; Zafar Ali Naqvi (Shiney Ahuja) is a headstrong writer determined to make it in competitive Bollywood. Sparks fly and hearts swoon when the writer steals the young starlet from a rival. But has Zafar gone too far?
