Ex-cop Narasimha (Mohanlal) hires a pair of best friends, Raj (Prashant Raj) and Heero (Ajay Devgan), to find and capture crime boss Babban (Amitabh Bachchan), the man who killed Narasimha's family. But while training to defeat Babban, the two young men get distracted by falling in love. This Bollywood crime comedy, which references world political affairs including the U.S. war in Iraq, is an adaptation of the classic Indian film Sholay.
