Sgt. Joe Friday (Jack Webb) and Bill Gannon (Harry Morgan) return in the second season of this hard-hitting detective show to catch a troubled teen with a hand grenade, help a distraught fellow cop, and set a trap for a trio of con artists. In other cases, an elderly burglar uses the newspaper to help commit his crimes, a young marijuana-smoking couple faces trouble, and Gannon goes undercover to nab a killer for hire.
