Michael York, Sarah Miles, James Mason and Margaret Leighton head a star-studded lineup in this lavish retelling of the classic Charles Dickens tale about penniless orphan Pip, who escapes his hardscrabble life thanks to an anonymous benefactor. The supporting cast includes Anthony Quayle, Joss Ackland and Robert Morley, who turns in a memorable performance as the social-climbing snob Uncle Pumblechook.
