A horse trainer with a big heart (Eleanor Powell) stows away on a train carrying her favorite steed and his caretakers (Buddy Ebsen and George Murphy) to New York, where she meets a talent agent (Robert Taylor) who believes she can make it on Broadway. A pre-Wizard of Oz Judy Garland also performs a tribute to Clark Gable ("You Made Me Love You") in this classic Hollywood musical, which helped move her from obscurity to superstardom.
