Dick Van Dyke stars as Lt. Robin Crusoe in this family comedy about a Navy pilot who becomes marooned in shark-infested seas on a tiny raft, only to wash up on an island of unique castaways -- including a poker-playing chimpanzee. Crusoe soon befriends Wednesday, a young native woman who's been exiled to the island for rebelling against her overprotective father. It's not long before the two get into every kind of high jinks imaginable.
