72 Desperate Rebels

Director Lin Bin's 1976 action film chronicles the exploits of notorious pirate Pu Ho-nien and his attempt to overthrow the Ming dynasty. When Ho-nien hires 72 veteran kung-fu fighters to carry out his plan, the picture looks grim for the ruling imperialists. Among the combatants, though, exists a mole, a sightless swordsman and the mercenary Ghost Killer --- all of whom pose a threat to Ho-nien's grandiose scheme.
