When the deranged psychopath (Peter Strauss) who abducted the teenage Julie Burdock (Samantha Mathis) demands a half-million dollar ransom from her wealthy father (Robert Urich), the distraught dad is forced to decide whether to put his trust in the FBI or try to rescue her on his own. But with his terrified daughter buried alive in a small box with only a small tube to bring her air, he knows he must act quickly to save her life.
