Laurence Olivier stars as Andrew Wyke, an unhappily married man who wants to rid of his wife without paying alimony. Aware of his spouse's affair with Milo Tindle (Michael Caine), Wyke tells Tindle to rob the house and leave with the wife and her jewelry. The planned break-in sets off a string of twists that will keep you guessing who has the upper hand in this smart psychological thriller from director Joseph L. Mankiewicz.
