Recently released from prison, Bobby (Glenn Plummer) rejoins his "family," the Deuces gang of South Central Los Angeles. Ray Ray (Byron Minns), the leader of the Deuces, soon convinces Bobby to commit an act that lands him in prison again. But this time, Bobby studies Islam and the works of Martin Luther King and W.E.B. DuBois. Upon his release, can he save his young son from the same fate he grappled with?
