A Doll's House

  (1973)
A young bride reexamines her outwardly perfect life and marriage when her husband takes ill. She ends up forging her father's signature on a bank loan and becomes the victim of blackmail. This version of the play by Henrik Ibsen, despite its big-name English cast (Anthony Hopkins, Denholm Elliot), didn't get a wide theatrical release in 1973 thanks to a competing adaptation starring Jane Fonda. It was reissued in 1989.
