Al (Vincent Spano) has been a gangster for years, but is haunted by his father's murder and wants to mend his ways. He works for Frank Parente (Danny Aiello), a shady land developer with a murderous past. When Al's aunt rents a room to beautiful filmmaker Gabriella (Maria Grazia Cucinotta), he immediately falls for her. He finds out she hasn't been truthful about her film, but also realizes the two have more in common than he thought.
