Seeking some sizzle, bored author Richard Mannhart (Perry King) begins an affair with film editor Katie Griffin (Roxana Zal). As the affair continues, Katie grows steadily more attached. When Richard's wife (Susan Blakely) dies in a car accident, Katie suspects Richard of foul play, and tells the police. Richard denies the allegations -- as well as his relationship with Katie. What's real, and what's imagined in Richard's complicated world?
