Initially launched as a spinoff of "The Cosby Show" starring Lisa Bonet, this sitcom wrote her character out of the second season, focusing instead on the dramas of Southern belle Whitley Gilbert (Jasmine Guy) and her other college classmates. In this collection of episodes, Clair (Phylicia Rashad) tries to persuade Vanessa (Tempestt Bledsoe) to attend Hillman, and Dwayne (Kadeem Hardison) and Ron (Darryl M. Bell) decide to pledge a fraternity.
