A Guest of Life

This sublimely animated film tells the story of Transylvania's Alexander Csoma de Kőrös, who traveled to Asia on foot in search of Hungary's origins and instead discovered Tibet's rich culture and Buddhist faith, which he shared with the world. Declared a saint by the Dalai Lama, de Kőrös translated the writings of Tibetan monks and created a dictionary of the language. Susannah York narrates this first film from Hungarian composer Tibor Szemzö.
