Richard Spraggins's (Jim Metzler) only diversion from his constant pain and wretched life is to escape to an imaginary 1950s film noir world where he becomes tough-talking private eye Richard Stone, hired to save the life of mysterious bombshell Jade Norfleet (Andrea Thompson). The cast also features Billy Bob Thornton and John Ritter.
