As a school administrator, Cal Peterson (Gerald McRaney) maintains a composed certainty about his job duties. But he finds his mindset challenged when he falls for charming music teacher Lily Waite (Naomi Judd) and witnesses the wonderful power of music. Cal had plans to close down Lily's school for budget reasons but now reexamines his priorities. Andy Griffith appears as Cal's father in this delightful holiday film directed by Bobby Roth.
