An 11-year-old girl and her uncle fall hook, line and sinker for a beauty of a thoroughbred in this heartwarming family tale. With no parents to rely on, Danielle "Danny" Fortuna (Leelee Sobieski) moves in with her horse trainer uncle, Eddie (Robert Urich). Danny sets her sights on finding a champion racehorse for Eddie, but just as everything's looking rosy, the two are caught in the middle of a political power struggle.
