A Majority of One

On a trip to Tokyo with her daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Jerry, Jewish widow Mrs. Jacoby (Rosalind Russell), whose son was killed in World War II, harbors conflicted feelings when she is courted by Japanese businessman Mr. Asano (Alec Guinness) in this gentle love story. But before a happy ending can ensue, they must relearn kindness and forgiveness -- all while coping with Alice and Jerry's intolerance for their interracial relationship.
