Workers in an auto parts warehouse struggle to make ends meet during the Depression in this film based on Arthur Miller's classic one-act play, which draws on Miller's own experiences in the 1930s. Unable to get ahead, most of the workers spiral into despondency. The stellar cast of this character-driven drama includes Harvey Keitel, George Grizzard, Barnard Hughes, Estelle Parsons, Jerry Stiller, Dick Van Patten and Jack Warden.
