When her sister drags her to a strip club, shy community college professor Faye Hanlon (Lesley Ann Warren) doesn't expect to see anyone she knows. But after realizing that gorgeous dancer "Ricky the Rocket" (Christopher Atkins) is actually one of her struggling students, Faye decides to enter into an excitingly unprofessional affair. As the heat rises with Ricky, Faye grows increasingly unsure of what to do about one minor detail -- her husband.
