Mickey Rourke is an IRA terrorist who grows tired of violence after he accidentally blows up a school bus full of children. Now useless to his cause, he's being hunted by both the British and the IRA. Sadistic mobster Alan Bates will give Rourke money and a passport -- if he commits one more crime. A priest (Bob Hoskins) witnesses the killing, and Rourke tries to silence him by confessing the murder. Based on Jack Higgins's best-selling novel.
