A Stranger in the Kingdom

  (1999)
Walter Andrews (Ernie Hudson) served as an Army chaplain during World War II; now his reputation has earned him a job as a minister in a small Vermont town. When the townspeople realize that their new minister is black, some express racist attitudes. Most, however, welcome the ex-Army chaplain -- until, that is, a young woman is found dead. Then, Andrews quickly becomes the prime suspect. The reason? He'd let the woman live with him.
