The well-ordered life of high school teacher Jeanne spins into disorder when she meets Natacha, an adolescent pianist with a penchant for subtly playing her elders. She invites Jeanne to her father's home, hoping to make a match of the two. Natacha also hopes to send her dad's current lover packing, but fireworks soon erupt, and everyone's forced to examine his or her own philosophies on love, relationships and other sordid affairs of the heart.
