A Whisper in the Dark

Based on Henry James's novella The Turn of the Screw, Marcello Aliprandi's Italo-Gothic horror flick is set amid the waterways of Venice, following the travails of a young mother (Nathalie Delon) who's still reeling from the child she lost during her last pregnancy. Unfortunately, when her son (Alessandro Poggi) introduces her to his new imaginary friend, she makes a horrible realization: His playmate is her dead baby's ghost.
