When his estranged mother dies, womanizing magazine publisher Houston Blackett (Angus MacFayden) makes a surprise appearance at her funeral. There, he runs into his ex, Zane Douglas (Penelope Ann Miller), and discovers that his mother and Zane were lovers. Now, Zane is set to inherit everything Houston thinks is rightfully his. But with the help of his back-stabbing stepmother (Ann-Margret), he's determined to fight for his right to the money.
