Soon after the gentle Professor Prabhat (Raj Babbar) arrives in Bombay, he accidentally provokes the ire of a violent gang that tries to teach him a lesson by raping his sister and killing his mother. In search of justice, the professor launches an epic one-man crusade against any and all evil, becoming a legendary avenger in process. Yet despite his noble motives, will his actions stand up in court?
