Sapna (Amisha Patel) is dominated by her father, Dholakia (Kiran Kumar), and her brother (Mukesh Tiwari), both of them underworld dons. Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) saves Sapna from an attack by her father's rivals and connives to meet her again. He joins a band that is to perform at her house during the Navarathri festival, and they fall in love. But trouble erupts when her father and brother get wind of their relationship.
