While attending school in Chennai, college student Aathi (Vijay) spends his time studying and tracking down the outlaws who killed his family. When he meets Anjali (Trisha Krishnan) -- who's also seeking vengeance against her parents' killers -- the two soon fall in love. Joining forces, they work together to bring down the baddies. But their actions lead to the discovery of a shocking secret in this high-octane thriller.
